Hearts coach Herbert Addo says he was delighted with the effort shown by his players despite their 1-0 defeat at Heart of Lions.

The capital-based side have sunk into the relegation after losing the plot against the Kpando-based side.

Osman Muntaka sealed the maximum points for Lions with a brilliant strike in the second half to condemn Hearts into the relegation trap net.

Coach Herbert Addo says he was proud of his players despite the setback.

“I am very proud of my boys despite the defeat. We played well and created many chances,” he said

“But we failed to take advantage of the many scoring opportunities and that what happens.

“In football, if you don’t take your chances you pay dearly for it and that what happened to us.”

Hearts have slipped to the 15th position on the table after amassing a paltry eight points from eight games.
