Perth Glory head coach Stephen Peters has revealed his excitement following the addition of Super Falcons defender Onyinyechi Zogg, admitting that her quality and experience will significantly bolster the club’s backline this season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

“Onyinyechi is a really technical and athletic defender who has performed at the very highest level in Europe and we are thrilled to have secured her services,” he said.

“We certainly feel that she has the potential to make a major impression in the ALW this year".

The backline has been significantly boosted by the arrival of Nigerian international Onyinyechi Zogg, who featured in the UEFA Champions League during her time in Europe, along with Naomi Chinnama, who is set to represent the Young Matildas at this month’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
