Sevilla head coach García Pimienta has revealed the areas that Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho needs to work on amidst his struggles in Spain since arriving as a free agent from Leicester, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Iheanacho and Ejuke both arrived in the summer but it's the latter who has been so instrumental in the first team, scoring the winning goal against Real Valladolid in their last La Liga game while Iheanacho continues to struggle for minutes.

Addressing the situation, the gaffer said;

“Everyone, whoever plays up front has to do well. Kelechi is a proven player. The other day he had a difficult game because he came on without warming up. Just like the rest, he has to take a step forward because he has the quality to do it at Sevilla".

With the Morocco 2025 AFCON qualifiers getting closer, Iheanacho would be hoping to push harder for more game time in Sevilla to stand a chance of inclusion in Augustine Eguaveon's squad for the clash against Knights of Libya in Benina.
