Esperance ace Harrison Afful has acknowledged the impact of compatriots Francis Coffie and Augustine Okrah at Sudanese side Al Merreikh.

The Ghana defender played against his countrymen on Saturday in the first leg of their CAF Champions League round 16 tie in Omdurman.
Afful and his Tunisian side were beaten 1-0 ahead of the return leg in Tunis in a fortnight.

“I think they played very well and I was impressed and happy to see my friends play that much,” Afful told GHANASoccernet.com
“We lost the match not because we didn’t play well but because of some questionable decisions by the referee.”
