Ex Super Falcons striker, Desire Oparanozie has urged the Nigeria Football Federation president to extend the gesture given to injured Super Eagles players to the injured Super Falcons players, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The outspoken player in her playing days posted on her X handle in reply to a post from Nigeria's foremost journalist Ralph Chidozie George commending the NFF president for his visit to the male national team players.

Oparanozie asked the president of the Federation to shown same gesture to players of the Women National team who are also injured.

"It will be more nice if this is extended to the women too. Demehin is currently injured and is in the same country with Simon, Plumptre is injured too." She said.

It will be recalled that early this week the NFF revealed that the president, Ibrahim Gusau called at the place of POAK's defender William Troost-Ekong, Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi and Nice forward Moses Simon who are recuperating from injury in Europe.
