The Golden Eaglets eligible striker has not disclosed his next destination, but he was heavily linked with a transfer to West Brom in the January transfer window.

The Daily Record reported late last month that Eseosa has decided to move to the Baggies after Celtic accepted an offer from the Championship club.

The 2006-born player signed his first professional contract before the start of the 2022-2023 season and has moved on to pastures new without making his senior debut for the Hoops.

Eseosa's contract at Celtic was due to run out at the end of the 2024-2025 season.

Writing on Instagram on Wednesday, Eseosa stated : "Today is the day I want to announce I’ve officially left Celtic I want to thank all the staff and my teammates for helping me make the most amazing memories and teaching me a lot at my 10 years at the club.

"It wasn’t a decision that was taken lightly, Celtic will always be in my heart."
