Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey face Gershon Koffie's Whitecaps in MLS Cascadia derby at Portland
Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey and his Portland Timbers side host Geshon Koffie’s Whitecaps FC on Saturday in the Cascadia derby.

The Timbers are coming off a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Philadelphia Union, but they’re still one of the hottest teams in Major League Soccer – having lost just one of their last eight matches.
Kwarasey has been their first choice since signing for them this season after leaving Norwegian side Stromsgodset.

Whitecaps will be looking to bounce back after suffering two straight defeats at the hands of Colorado Rapids and most recently Sporting Kansas City.
Koffie has been one of the key men in midfield with 14 appearances and one goal this season.
