Isaac Atanga's right-foot shot was diverted into his own net by Saints skipper Joe Tomlinson on three minutes.

Ibrahim Abu Sadiq fired in the second and Ernest Boahene found the top corner with an impressive 25-yard free-kick.

Emmanuel Duku made it 4-0, Atanga was on target twice and Mohammed Diomande scored with another fine free-kick.

The Ghanaian Academy were in charge throughout and did not take long to stamp their authority on the game as Atanga turned in the area and saw his shot deflect off Tomlinson and into the net.

Ibrahim Abu Sadiq then missed when well placed in front of goal and Southampton's defensive frailties were exposed again when Sadiq shot home after a short backpass from Cameron Langan.

Atanga failed to find the target after yet another careless backpass but captain Boahene soon added his side's third with a perfectly executed free-kick a minute befor the interval.

Nine minutes into the second half, Duku sidefooted into the top corner from the edge of the box, before Atanga rifled a left-foot drive low into the bottom corner.

With one minute of added time on the clock, Diomande delivered an exquisite free-kick and a minute later Atanga completed a nightmare night for Southampton by dribbling through the defence and calmly slotting home.
