Ghanaian international winger Ernest Asante has expressed delight at working under Bob Bradley at Norwegian side Stabaek after joining them last week.

The 26-year-old joined Stabaek last week on a three-year-contract from fellow Eliteserien side IK Start and is already happy to be working under Bob Bradley at the club.

"He's a great manager with a lot of experience and a massive depth of knowledge which I can learn and progress under him here," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Asante spent four seasons at Start, playing in both the Norwegian second-tier and top-flight divisions.

The American trainer also discussed the qualities of Asante who can create and score goals.

"I think Asante can bring us something. He has good speed and for us it is a good step forward. I think he’s going to adapt well into the team," Bradley told Budstikka.

"Asante also has good speed, and we utilized a lot of the same qualities in Brustad. It is important to have momentum on top to threaten the other teams. He can give us many good qualities".

Asante's explosive abilities have been rated the best in Norway and manager Bradley feels he can make the most out of it if he develops other areas of his game.

"Asante is a major force in the move of his, but I feel that he will have to work with his positioning on the course if he's going to get the maximum advantage of it," he said.
