Ghana winger Christian Atsu determined to catapult Premier League newcomers Bournemouth

Ghana winger Christian Atsu has turned his attention to his new club Bournemouth after impressing on international duty in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

He scored the opening goal in Ghana's 7-1 mauling of Mauritius last Sunday in the Group H clash in Accra.

The 23-year-old completed a season-long loan move from Premier League champions Chelsea last month.

Atsu had a disappointing season on loan at Everton last season, where he started only one league game.

He is expected to make a huge impact at the Goldsands Stadium for the Premier League new boys.

The Ghana international posted on his Twitter account: “Next season I'll be on loan @afcbournemouth. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at the club & the fans.

Atsu joined Chelsea from Porto in September 2013, signing a five-year contract for a fee of around £3.5m before he was immediately loaned out to Vitesse Arnhem.
