The 29-year-old has managed to prove his fitness in just a single training session and has been called to camp for the home league fixture against Tianjin Teda.

Manager Sven-Goran Eriksson was satisfied with the level of fitness of the Ghana striker despite spending the past few weeks on holidays in Ghana.

Gyan however kept his training regime while on holiday in Ghana and was thus able to match up to the intensity of the training at Shanghai SIPG.
