Twin brothers Alhassan and Fuseini Nuhu scored the pair of goals New Edubiase United needed to defeat Hearts of Oak 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Hearts went into the clash brimming with confidence after the 1-0 derby win over rivals Asante Kotoko last Saturday.

But Edubiase were not perturbed and hatched a plan to bring down Herbert Addo’s charges back to earth.

Alhassan Nuhu got the better off Shaun October who was losing his footing to angle a shot past Mutawakilu Siedu off the post on 43rd minutes.

Three minutes later, Edubiase profited from a lack of communication between goalkeeper Siedu and defender Phillip Boampong.

The ball drops for Fuseinu Nuhu who had the simplest task of guiding the ball into the empty net.

But the Phobians never gave up and pushed for a consolation through Shaun October in the 79th minute.

Hearts are now without a win at the Accra Sports Stadium since return to their ground after serving a two-match ban.
