Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila says he is looking forward to succeeding with his side Al Qadsia in the Asian Federation cup after crashing out of the Champions League.

Qadsia are still in with a chance of winning the league as they are third and just four points off leaders Al Nasir.

The yellow and Black will also secure qualification to the next stage of the Federation cup with a win over Al Ahal this week.

And Sumaila who is yet to decide if he should make his loan stint a permanent one says he is looking to succeeding in the Asian federation cup to make up for the Champions league loss.

“We did not do so well in the Champions League and we have to make up for that with the federations cup,” Sumaila told GHANAsoccernet.com

“We will play again this week and we know we cannot afford to slip up no we can’t.

“The supporters have been splendid and we need to reward them with at least success in the Federations cup.
