Ghana ace Christian Atsu set to mark Bournemouth debut against Philadelphia Union in pre-season friendly on Tuesday

Ghana winger Christian Atsu will mark his debut for AFC Bournemouth ahead of Tuesday’s pre-season friendly against Philadelphia Union.

The 23-year-old has been on a pre-season training in the United States of America with the newly-promoted English Premier League newcomers.

The Ghana international, who is on a season-long loan with Bournemouth will play his first game for the side, keen to impress manager Eddie Howe in what will be an intriguing game at the PPL Park.

Bournemouth won the Championship with relative ease last season and so Eddie Howe‘s side fully deserve their place in the top flight of English football.

A trip to the United States to face the Union will improve team spirit and will help the new signings gel with their teammates before they play their first game together on Tuesday night in what will be a real test.
