GFA Presidential Elections: Two unknown persons pick up forms to join race

Two unknown persons have picked up forms to contest the Ghana FA Presidential elections barely twenty four hours to the closure of nominations.

This brings to four the number of persons who have confirmed interest in becoming the next President of the Ghana FA.

Incumbent Kwesi Nyantakyi was the first to pick up his form at the account’s office of the GFA Headquarters on Monday.

Ofeibea Ramatu and two others have also been to the GFA headquarters to secure their forms.

The challenge now for all four aspirants is to have the required eleven members – in good standing - of the GFA endorsing their forms which is be returned on by close of day on Friday.

The Elections Committee of the GFA will then takeover to scrutinize the returned forms to authenticate and clear candidates for the elections which will take place at an extraordinary congress of the GFA in Tamale on August 18.
