News of a move to the Premiership emerge some days ago with Wolves submitting official bid to Getafe worth €20 for the Super Eagles player.

Getafe president, Ángel Torres, has now confirmed that Nigerian international midfielder Uche Chrisantus is on the verge of completing a transfer to English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Torres admits he doesn't want his player to leave, bit the decision is driven by the harsh realities of Spanish football:

“We have to sell. We are ruining La Liga by continuously selling,” he said.
