Getafe and Deportivo share the points after second-half goals

Getafe and Deportivo drew in the fifth round of the Spanish Primera on Sunday, 13 September, after both sides scored in the second half.

The opening 45 minutes offered little entertainment, with neither team willing to take unnecessary risks. Both focused primarily on maintaining their defensive shape, and clear chances were limited.

The match opened up after the interval, with Getafe taking the lead in the 66th minute. Ramon Terrats finished the move after an assist from Ivan Azon.

Deportivo responded 12 minutes later when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised, converting a pass from Yeremay Hernandez. The visitors held on to secure a share of the points.
