Former Liverpool midfielder, Don Hutchison has revealed the extent Liverpool is willing to go in order to land their summer transfer target, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Hutchison claims Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen is a priority for top Premier League clubs.

He however disclosed that the 24 year-old is in comparison with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, who according to Don Hutchison, Liverpool would prefer to give the legendary jersey number 8 won by the great Steven Gerrard to the English man.

“Liverpool are putting all their eggs in the Bellingham basket by giving him the number 8, Steven Gerrard armband.

“I don’t think they can sell Steven Gerrard number 8 and give it to Osimhen. Don’t think that will quite work.” Hutchison told ESPN FC as per Daily Post.

The England international could be going for 150 million euros – same transfer fee Napoli are demanding for Osimhen.

Osimhen has emerged as one of the hottest strikers in the World this season, netting 25 times in 29 all-competition appearances as the Serie A giants are set to win the title this season and are in the Champions League quarter finals.
