Galatasaray gives update on Victor Osimhen after injury scare in win against Sivasspor

Turkish giant Galatasaray have confirmed that star forward Victor Osimhen will be out for some couple of games after the injury sustained in the nervy win against Sivasspor, Nigeriasoccernet.com can confirm.

This was confirmed through an official press release which read;

"During the Net Global Sivasspor match in the 15th week of the Trendyol Super League, Victor Osimhen felt pain in his right upper back muscle. In the MRI examinations performed at our sponsor hospital Medicana, moderate strain and bleeding were detected in the right upper back muscle group and treatment has been started for our player.

"No timeframe has been given by the club or the medical team regarding the return of Osimhen to the field, and action will be taken according to their clinical progress within the busy match schedule."

The club would be hoping that the injury doesn't keep him out for long after losing Mauro Icardi to an ACL injury as they look to defend their league crown.
