Goals from Camara Aguibou and Facinet Conte condemned the Super Eagles to a 2-0 defeat against the Syli Nationale.

The Nigerian team started with the right momentum pushing for the opener with Awaziem, Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon coming close earlier in the game.

However, it was the Guineans who opened score in the 14th minute through Aguibou.

5 minutes later, the Eagles had the opportunity to bring the game to equilibrium, but Simon's penalty was saved after Sadiq Umar was hacked down in the box.

Umar and Chukwueze attempted for a goal, but their efforts was not good enough as the first half ended 1-0.

The second half started with the Eagles pushing for the equaliser as Awaziem's header was headed by the goalkeeper 2 minutes into the half.
