Free agent Ebobisse signs 3-year deal with LAFC

LAFC signed veteran striker Jeremy Ebobisse to a three-year contract with an option for 2028.

The 27-year-old free agent has tallied 60 goals and 18 assists in 198 MLS matches over eight seasons with the Portland Timbers (2017-21) and San Jose Earthquakes (2021-24).

"Jeremy is a proven forward in our league who has scored goals and been a meaningful contributor to his teams throughout his career," LAFC co-president and general manager John Thorrington said in a news release Monday.

Ebobisse scored double-digit goals in three seasons: 17 in 2022, 11 in 2019 and 10 in 2023. He helped Portland win the MLS is Back Tournament in 2020.
