An unused sub in the team's 0-1 away victory to Alex Iwobi's Everton of the opening fixture, Marco Silva decided to name in on the bench for the second consecutive game in the home clash against Brentford yesterday and was introduced in the 67th minute when the team was already down by two goals with captain Tim Ream sent off albeit there was nothing he could do to turn the tides around.

Marco Silva got marching off order following his dissent over the sending off of Tim Ream as the team slumped to a 3-0 loss Frank Onyeka's (an un-used sub) Bees.

Bassey who agreed to a deal that will keep him with the team through the summer of 2027, although Fulham has the option to extend for an additional 12 months will be looking to get his first start and full debut when Fulham plays Arsenal at the Emirates.
