Former Asante Kotoko defender Rahim Ayew says he is saddened by reports Mas-Ud Dramani is linked with an exit from the club he won the double with only last year.

Kotoko have endured a bumpy start to the First Capital Plus premier league this season.

The Champions sit at a disappointing 13th on the league table with 10 points from a possible 27.

More frustratingly they have lost that aura of invincibility which carried them all through last season leading to Dramani being asked to proceed on a mandatory Garden leave.

“It’s really sad to see Kotoko struggle this season. We played well and won the first ever double just last season,” Rahim told Ghanasoccernet.com

“I am particularly sad for the coach whom I have a good relationship with.”

“I am saddened by the struggles the club are going through.”

Rahim left the club after failing to agree terms on a contract offered him.
