Ghana has named final 23 players for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, dominated by foreign-based players.

Only one member of the squad is based in the country. Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda got the nod ahead of Stephen Adams with DR Congo-based shot-stopper Ernest being named in the squad.

New coach Avram Grant has opted to include nine rookies in his squad which will take on rising teams like Senegal, Algeria and South Africa.

Captain Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu are the most experienced players in the squad.

The Black Stars are hoping to end a 33-year wait for an African crown and must negotiate difficult groups to start dreaming.
