While they were eliminated in the quarterfinals by the USA with a 2-0 loss, the Flamingos’ conduct in matches against New Zealand, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic stood out.

North Korea triumphed as the champions, defeating Spain in a penalty shootout.

At the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, the prestigious Golden Ball for the tournament's best player was awarded to Jon Il-chong of North Korea. Spain’s Pau Comendador secured both the Adidas Silver Ball and the Golden Boot for being the top scorer with five goals.

Meanwhile, USA's Evan O'Steen earned the Adidas Golden Glove as the best goalkeeper of the competition, showcasing his excellent shot-stopping abilities throughout the tournament.

Nigeria's Shakirat Moshood shared the Bronze Boot after netting four goals, finishing just behind Spain’s Celia Segura, who claimed the award due to her two assists.
