Addressing the kids, assistant coach Adanna Nwaneri said: “You can be the next person in these jerseys (Nigeria kits) representing the country and making us proud on the international stage".
The Flamingos departed Abuja for Bamako, Mali on Thursday morning aboard an Air Cote d’Ivoire flight.
They will take on their Burkinabe counterparts at the Stade 26 March on Saturday, in the first leg of a FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup third round qualifying fixture.
