Fit-again Emmanuel Emenike could rejoin Turkish giants Fenerbache

Emmanuel Emenike will stage a return to the game after six months out with injury in January and his destination could well be former club Fenerbache, according to a report.

Other Turkish clubs like Konyaspor and Basakshir are also keen to sign him.

“He’s going back to Europe, and Turkey could be the next destination, although clubs from Qatar have shown interest, but I think Emenike still love to be in Turkey,” a close source said.

“I can’t rule out a move back to Fenerbahce because the club president likes him, he was one of the reasons Emenike stayed longer in Fenerbahce, he’s like his father, forget what happened between Emenike and the club fans, the fans are already going on social media to get him back when he returns from injury.”

In the summer, Emenike cancelled his contract with Greek champions Olympiacos and thereafter went under the knife for a knee injury that prevented him from playing an official game at La Liga club Las Palmas when he was on loan.
