Ghana striker Ebenezer Assifuah is praying for an injury-free season as the Swiss Super League gets underway today (Saturday).

The 22-year-old managed only 16 league appearances for FC Sion.

During pre-season, he scored three goals in seven matches and want to continue from there when they travel to Luzern.

“Last season was quite tough especially with the injuries and all that so I could play much. So far I thank God for making it injury free and my prayer is God should give me good health and do my work,” the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup top scorer told GHANASoccernet.com

“I am very optimistic that this season will go well in the league and also the Europa League as well.”
