FA Cup: Warri Wolves beat Lobi Stars to pick semi final spot

Nigeria National League side,  Warri Wolves have ended Nigeria Premier Football League side, Lobi Stars' dream of reaching the final of the Federation Cup after beating them in the quarter final, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The tie at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode on Sunday ended 2-1 in favour of the Delta based club who reach their first FA Cup semi final in ten years.

19 yr old Jabbar Malik scored his second goal for Warri Wolves to put his side in front some minutes before half time as the Wolves lead 1-0 in the first half.

Joseph Atule connected Kumaga Suur's pull out to level scores for Lobi Stars in the 57th minute, but Warri Wolves came back to win with a 69th minute goal.

Warri Wolves play another NPFL team, Bendel Insurance and will seek to take out another giant out of the oldest competition in the land.
