El Kanemi Warriors and Kebbi United both booked their places in the semi final of the President Federation Cup after beating InterLagos and Sunshine Stars on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
El Kanemi Warriors defeated InterLagos FC 2-1 at the Bwari Stadium, Abuja while Kebbi United edged EFCC FC 4-3 on penalties after a goalless affair at full time in Kano.
The Bauchi side got on the score sheet first before the Lagos side equalled score through Uchenna Njoku, but the Warriors scored again before the end of the game to progress.
In the battle of the Nigeria National League sides, Kebbi United won on penalties to send the anti-graft side packing from the competition.
The two sides join Kano Pillars and Abia Warriors who also progressed to the semi finals.
