French-born Ghanaian defender Dennis Appiah has signed a two-year-contract extension with French Ligue 1 side Caen, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm. 

Appiah, 23, excelled with Caen in the Ligue 1 last season and has inked a fresh two-year deal to his existing contract which will expire in 2016.

The highly prodigious right-back joined Caen three seasons ago from giants AS Monaco and has held down a regular starting place in the squad.

Appiah was born to Ghanaian parents in France but is yet to be capped by either France or Ghana.
