Former Ghana goalkeeper Abubakar Damba has condemned the attitude of the Hearts of Oak players who ridiculed the team’s current predicaments in a leaked tape.

The Phobians have struggled for consistency in the league this season after a bright start to the campaign.

Issues of unpaid salaries and player revolt against management have threatened to disrupt their season.

But Damba who is an ex-goalie himself says attitude of players taking delight in the team’s struggles is highly unprofessional and should be condemned.

“I think that the management have to share a part of the blame because issues of unpaid salaries always have a negative effect on the team,” Damba said

“We need to be able to understand that as footballers also there is no room to justify a mistake with mocking the team.

“When you mock the team what you tell your employers is that you are not committed to the cause.”

Hearts will take on Medeama in the seme-finals of the MTN FA cup with the winner taking on Asante Kotoko who beat Aduana Stars on Friday.
