Esiti demands more cash before switching to Chinese League

Nigerian midfielder Anderson Esiti wants Chinese club Tianjin Teda to offer him more money before he will join them from Greek club PAOK Salonika.

The Chinese club, who once paraded Mikel Obi, are reported to have contacted PAOK with a bid of 5 million Euros.

Bulky defensive midfielder Esiti, 26, joined PAOK amid high expectations from Belgian club KAA Gent in the 2019/2020 season, but he has yet to fully establish himself at the Greek club.

He was an unused substitute in his team’s opening game of the new season – a 1-0 home win over Larissa.

He has previously played in Portugal.
