The Harmony Boys beat the People's Elephant 2-0 in the NPFL match day 16 rescheduled game at the Kwara State Sports Complex, Ilorin with two goals scored in the first half.

Wasiu Alalade opened the score for the hosts from the penalty spot 6 minutes into the encounter before Junior Aimufana doubled the lead in the 38th minute.

The second half was without goals as the 2-time CAF Champions League winners struggled to score as they fell to a defeat for the second consecutive time in the league.
