Nigeria's Alex Iwobi continued his fine form for Fulham as they earned a point in their English Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles midfielder capped off a brilliant shift against Spurs with a good assist as they played out a 1-1 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Brennan Johnson's 54th-minute goal was cancelled by Thomas Caimey's 67th-minute goal following Iwobi's pull-back assist.

Close to the end of the game, Tom Cairney was shown a red card for a foul after a VAR review seeing Fulham play with 10 men till the end.

He was substituted for Sessegnon after the red card while his teammate and Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey played the entire duration of the game.

Iwobi has now matched his best Premier League start with six goals involvement

The Nigerian midfielder last achieved this feat in the 2022/23 season, contributing one goal and five assists by the 13th game.

No Fulham player has been directly involved in more EPL goals than the Nigerian this season.
