Ekiti FA - LFCs election a success as Bayo Olanlege led FA board sets a new standard

The Ekiti State Football Association has supervised a successful poll into various positions in the Local Football Councils across the state on Tuesday.

According to the directive from the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) all Local Football Councils and other affiliate associations must conduct their elections before the end of April, 2023.

All the 16 Local Football Councils across Ekiti State held their election on Tuesday, 7th March, 2023, where some members returned unopposed while there were new entrants into the Boards of different LFCs.

Meanwhile, more women have been elected into the Board of the Local Football Councils across the state which proves women involvement in the round leather game has increased tremendously.

Recall that this is the first time in the history of the state that there will be election into the Board of different Local Football Councils.
