Egyptian Premier League side El Shorta (Police Union) have announced they rejected an offer from an unnamed Saudi side for their Ghanaian striker Nana Poku.

The club’s director of football Ali Gheit confirmed on Thursday: “We refused an offer from a Saudi club who want to sign Saleh Rico and striker Nana Poku."
The former Ghana Premier League goal king has been in top form since moving to the North African country for a second spell.

Poku is the El Shorta’s leading top scorer this term as the club lie tenth on the league table.
