Rafiu Durosinmi's anticipated transfer to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt has fallen through due to a failed medical examination, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Despite an agreement between Czech Republic side Viktoria Plzen and Eintracht Frankfurt, the German club withdrew from the deal after the forward did not pass the medical assessment.

According to German news source BILD, Frankfurt discovered an issue with Durosinmi's knee, leading to the cancellation of the proposed transfer.

The 21-year-old had a four-year contract awaiting him, and Frankfurt was prepared to pay £9 million to Viktoria Plzen for his services.

With the deal off, Eintracht Frankfurt is now expected to seek a replacement before the current transfer window concludes.
