Nigeria International, Dosu Joseph has revealed that Nigeria home based Eagles could overturn the two goals deficit conceded in the first leg of their CHAN qualifiers against Ghana.
The Nigerian team fell two to second half goals at the Gold Coast stadium to see their chances of qualifying for the tournament become a hard one.
However, the superb shot stopper in his days, his optimistic the crop of players im the team can get the needed victory to qualify for the tournament in Algeria.
“It’s sad that the Home Based Super Eagles lost to their Ghanaian counterpart in the first leg. However, the coaching crew must watch some of the lapses in the team and find a way to fix things up in the second leg.
“I am very optimistic the Home Based Super Eagles will turn the table against Ghana and qualify for the CHAN tournament proper.”
The Nigeria CHAN Eagles and the Black Galaxies of Ghana will once again lock horns in Abuja on 3rd September for the concluding part of the qualifiers.
