The 21-year-old joined Everton from Belgian club Eupen for £7million in 2017 and has been unable to obtain a work permit to play in the UK which saw him immediately loaned back to the Jupiler League with Anderlecht.

After bagging ten goals for Anderlecht last term, Onyekuru signed a one-year loan deal at Galatasaray last July with Goodison chiefs reportedly pocketing a £700,000 loan fee
