The defending Bundesliga winners confirmed on Monday that Marcel Sabitzer had finalized his transfer from RB Leipzig.
The 27-year-old signed a long-term contract with Bayern that will keep him at the club until 2025.
Bayern agreed to pay €16 million for the Austrian midfielder, who led RB Leipzig last season.
"Marcel Sabitzer offers everything that an FC Bayern player needs. On top of that, he won’t need long to settle in as he’s already well-acquainted with the philosophy of our coach Julian Nagelsmann,” said Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn.
Sabitzer, who joined Leipzig in 2014, spent two years under Nagelsmann before following the German manager to Bavaria.
With 52 goals in 229 games, he finishes his Leipzig career with a total of 52 goals.
