While the fate of Enyimba advancing in the CAF Champions League is hanging by a thread, LMC Chairman Shehu Dikko is hopeful the Nigeria’s sole surviving representatives on the continent can book a semi final ticket.

The Two-time Champions suffered back to back defeats in their opening Group B matches.

A 1-0 home loss to Zamalek SC at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium was followed by a disappointing 2-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns ; despite a spirited showing at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Reacting to the chances of the People’s Elephant advancing to the next round, Dikko told footballlive.ng the NPFL side could snatch successive wins in Port Harcourt against Sundowns and another brave one in Egypt.

He urged the Paul Aigbogun tutored side to dig their heels in launch a sensational comeback from the slump suffered in their course of the return to the group stage of the competition since 2011.
