Despite missing out on the Scottish Premiership title last season and being eliminated from the UEFA Europa League in the Round of 16, Dessers is hopeful that the team will bounce back stronger.

The Light Blues have a crucial month ahead in August, with league, cup, and European fixtures, but Dessers believes they are prepared.

“We have a big month in August, not only in the league but also in the cup and in Europe, so we know what to do,” Dessers told Football Scotland.

Dessers also emphasized the importance of team unity, saying, "We have been there before. For some of the new guys, it’s obviously new but we’ll take them with us. We’ll support them. We’ll be ready.”
