Echeta opened the scoring just three minutes into the match, finishing off a swift attacking move that left Newroz’s defence helpless. He later turned provider in the 23rd minute, setting up Sarmad Karim to double Zakho’s advantage after another well-coordinated team move.
The hosts continued to dominate, and Kristijan Tojcic made it 3–0 in the 44th minute with a clinical finish before Ahmed Attwan added the fourth goal moments into the second half, sealing the emphatic victory.
