Delta State Football Association visit Henry Nwosu

The Delta State Football Association (DFA) have visited ailing former International player, Henry Nwosu in Asaba.

Nwosu has been sick and a save our soul message declared to the public after his health was reported to have deteriorated.

The Chairman of the DFA, Chief Kenneth Nwamuocha represented by a member of the Board, Mr Harrison Ocholor and the FA Secretary Mr Azuka Ogosi visited Nwosu.

Chief Nwamuocha noted that the DFA appreciates the contributions of Henry Nwosu to the senior national team, the Super Eagles, adding that he remains an inspiration to generations of footballers.

The DFA later presented N100,000.00 to assist the Ex international in his treatment, and called on Nigerians to support Henry Nwosu.

Responding, Henry Nwosu appreciated the DFA and indeed all Nigerians for the support since his health challenge started.

He stated that he has spent all his savings and his family has spent so much for treatment.

The Ex international appealed to well meaning Nigerians and corporate organisations to come to his aid as the burden is becoming unbearable.

Nwosu thanked Friends especially ex internationals who have been of immense support all this time.
