Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba has praises his son, Daniel Aiyenugba for helping his team, Remo Stars secure promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Nigeria Nationwide team defeated First Bank 4-0 in one of the playoff matches at the Osogbo Township Stadium.
Daniel Aiyenugba was the goalie for the Remo Star B team, making important saves with his father Dele, believes the 14 has a very bright future.
“It’s just God all through; Daniel was superb today as he made some impressive saves for his team,” he stated.
“I’m a proud father as he is boldly taking over the big gloves from me. With his display today, I’m very confident he has a bright future ahead of him,” he told Daily Post.
Remo Stars also known as Beyond Limit, joined Osun United in gaining promotion to the Nigeria National League
