Goals from Kieran Dowell and Todd Cantwell with assist from Dessers gave the Scottish Giants a win at Fir Park on Saturday afternoon.

Dowell opened score very early in the game after a fine give-and-go with Cyriel Dessers before rifling a cultured finish high into Liam Kelly’s goal in the 3rd minute.

After much momentum by the Light Blue side, the cushion came 13 minutes later after Abdallah Sima chested the path of Todd Cantwell for him to finish the ball into the bottom corner.

The score remained the same despite more attempts by both sides as the Gers ushered their fans to a happy Christmas as they sit second with 45 points, same points as table toppers, Celtic who have played a game more than Rangers.
