The "first thing" Premier League footballers can do is "take a pay cut and play their part" to help out during the coronavirus pandemic, says health secretary Matt Hancock.
He was speaking at the government's daily briefing.

Hancock added: "Everybody needs to play their part in this national effort and that means Premier League footballers."
The Professional Footballers' Association "accepts players will have to share the financial burden".
