Como secured a 3-0 home victory over Parma in the fourth round of the Italian championship, moving up to second place in the Serie A table.
Cesc Fabregas’ side made a confident start and created several attacking opportunities in the opening stages. Their pressure produced the first goal in the 23rd minute, when Nicolas Paz supplied Jacobo Ramon, who finished the move to put Como ahead.
Como continued to push forward after the interval and were rewarded with a second goal in the 83rd minute. Kayky found the net to extend the home side’s advantage.
David Romero completed the scoring, confirming a comfortable victory for Como.
The result took Como’s points tally to 10 and lifted them into second place in Serie A. Parma remain 18th with one point.
