Club America players to be fined by LigaMX disciplinary board

LigaMX disciplinary commission announced in a press release that Club America players Roger Martinez, Nicolas Benedetti, Richard Sanchez and Leonardo Suarez will each receive a $5000 fine for violating the league's sanitary protocol against coronavirus. 

"After a careful investigation of the events, it was determined that the players Roger Beyker Martínez Tobinson, Nicolás Benedetti Roa, Richard Rafael Sánchez Guerrero y Leonardo Gabriel Suárez will be fined 100,000 mexican pesos (USD 5000) for violating LigaMX Sanitary protocol" the disciplinary commission announced in a press release on the Mexican Federation website. Club America is also conducting its own internal investigation and will determine whether to punish the players with additional measures. The group of players was caught by a Mexican gossip outlet while at an unauthorized party with the news breaking on Monday on Mexican media.
